This cozy fair isle knit hat pattern is a color gradient delight! Choose 5 shades of one color palette, or use different colors for a rainbow effect. Pattern includes instructions for both child and adult size hats. A knit color chart is provided within the instructions and could be used for other projects, such as a sweater, scarf, blanket, etc.

Sizes: 
Child (4-10 years): 18” circumference/8.5” height (unstretched)
Adult: 20” circumference/10” height  (unstretched)

Gauge
18 sts/24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch

Materials needed: 
155-180 yards worsted weight yarn in 5 colors:
Color A: 25 yds (child)/30 yds (adult)
Color B,C,D (Each): 30 yds (child)/35 yds (adult)
Color E: 40yds (child)/45 yds (adult)
