Autumn Days | Knit Boomerang Shawl Pattern
I designed this easy knit boomerang shawl for those early autumn days, where the air is cool in the morning and warm by afternoon. The slender long shape and lightweight yarn allows it to be worn long over the shoulders and arms as a shawl, or wrapped around the neck as a scarf.

Details
This pattern is made up of stretchy garter stitch rows, with basic alternating increases and decreases that create the boomerang shape. Eyelet rows paired with the simple eyelet border add another visual appeal.
A variegated or ombre type yarn in a dk weight is ideal for accentuating the unique crescent shape. However, a solid neutral would work well for an everyday accessory. I used approximately 2.5 cakes of Lion Brand Wool-Ease DK.
The gauge and size given is a guideline; different size yarn and needles will produce a smaller or larger shawl.Sizes
