Crochet hook

ch: chain

dc: double crochet

hdc: half double crochet

sc: single crochet

sl-st: slip stitch

sp: space

Special Stitches

3 dc-cl (3 double crochet cluster): yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, repeat 2 more times (4 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all 4 loops

4 dc-cl (4 double crochet cluster): yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, repeat 3 more times (5 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through all 5 loops



Daisy Granny Square Instructions

With Color A, ch 2 and work in the second chain from the hook OR make a magic circle and chain 1

Round 1: 8 sc into ring, join with a sl-st in first sc. Fasten off. [8 sts]

Round 2: join Color B in any st. (ch 3, 3 dc-cl) in same st, ch 2, *4 dc-cl in next st, ch 2; repeat from * to end of round, join with a sl-st in first st. Fasten off. [8 petals]

Round 3: join Color c in any ch-2 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in sp, 3 hdc in next sp, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next sp, 3 hdc in next sp; repeat from * to end, join with a sl-st in first st (ch 3). Fasten off. [36 sts]

Finishing:

Weave in all ends and block square.
