Crochet Willow Square Instructions:

Ch 4, join with a sl-st to form a ring.

Round 1: ch 3 (counts as a dc here and throughout), 15 dc into ring, join with a sl-st in top of ch-3.

Round 2: ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1), (dc, ch 1) in each st around, join with a sl-st in 3rd ch of the beginning ch-4.

Round 3: ch 3, 2 dc in ch-1 sp, *dc in next st, 2 dc in ch-1 sp; repeat from * to end, join with a sl-st in top of ch-3.

Round 4: ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 5, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 3, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in next; repeat from * two more times, ch 5, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 2, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 3, skip 2 sts, sc in next, ch 2, skip 2 sts, join with a sl-st in beginning sc.

Round 5: sl-st into ch-5 sp, (ch 3, 4 dc, ch 3, 5 dc), *skip next st, sc into ch-2 sp, skip next st, 5 dc into ch-3 sp, skip next st, sc into ch-2 sp, skip next st, (5 dc, ch 3, 5 dc) into ch-5 sp; repeat from * two more times, skip next st, sc into ch-2 sp, skip next st, 5 dc into ch-3 sp, skip next st, sc into ch-2 sp, skip next st, join with a sl-st in top of first ch-3.
