Yarn (3 colors - main color, leaf color, tulip petal color)

Abbreviations (US Terms):
ch: chain
dc: double crochet
RS: right side
sc: single crochet
sp: space
st/sts: stitch/stitches
WS: wrong side
Special Stitches
V Stitch: double crochet, chain 1, double crochet in the same stitch
Popcorn Stitch: make 5 double crochets into the same stitch, remove hook from the fifth double crochet loop, insert the hook into the first double crochet from front to back, place the fifth double crochet loop on the hook and pull through the first double crochet.

Crochet Tulip Stitch Instructions:
Chain multiples of 3
Row 1 (RS): sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch to end. Turn.
Row 2 (WS): ch 1, sc in each st to end. Turn.
Row 3 (RS): ch 1, sc in each st to end, change to leaf color on final st. Turn.
Row 4 (WS): ch 3 (counts as dc), skip 1 st, v stitch in next, *skip 2 sts, v stitch in next, repeat from * to last 2 sts, skip 1, dc in last stitch and change to petal color. Turn.
Row 5 (RS): ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1), popcorn in next ch-1 sp, *ch 2, popcorn in next ch-1 sp; repeat from * to last st (ch-3 st), ch 1, dc in top of ch-3 and change to main color. Turn.
Row 6 (WS): ch 1, sc in same st, sc in ch sp, sc in top of popcorn st, *2 sc in ch-2 sp, sc in top of popcorn st; repeat from * to last st (ch-4 st), sc in 4th and 3rd ch of ch-4. Turn.
Repeat rows 3-6 until desired length.
Note: Additional single crochet rows (such as Rows 3 and 6) can be added between the tulip rows. Add single crochet rows in sets of 2 so the tulip stitch rows all remain on the same side of the work.
