Materials:
Yarn
Crochet hook
Abbreviations (US Terms):
ch: chain
dc: double crochet
sc: single crochet
sk: skip
st/sts: stitch/stitches
Special Stitches:
Bead Stitch: *yarn over, insert the hook around the post of the double crochet to the back, yarn over and pull up a loop; repeat from * 2 more times. Yarn over and pull through 6 loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through remaining 2 loops on hook.
Crochet Bead Stitch Instructions:
Chain an even number of stitches
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across. Turn.
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as a st here and throughout), dc in next st, bead st, *sk next st, dc in next st, bead st, repeat from * to last st, dc in last st. Turn.
Row 3: ch 1 (doesn't count as st), sc in next st and each st across, (there will be 2 sts per bead st), sc in ending ch-3.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until desired length is achieved.
